Congratulations to Garrett Simpson for his spirited victory in the Poetry Out Loud competition held on February 6, 2007! Garrett gave a spirited rendition of Percy Shelley's "Ozymandias" and Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky." Garrett moves on to compete in the New York State Poetry Out Loud Competition held on March 8, 7:00 pm, at the New York State Museum in Albany.

Runners up included Meara Mctague and Allie Funk. Again, congratulations to all who participated! It was a really cool experience to hear the poems spoken aloud.
